Managing and reordering your repeat medication
We offer this free service to all patients registered with a GP surgery local to the pharmacy. Once you have completed our consent form we can order your repeat medications each month on your behalf saving you the hassle of having to remember. Each month when you collect your medication from the pharmacy we will ask you which items you wish to order for your next collection. When your next prescription is due, we will order the prescription on your behalf and then collect the prescription from your GP surgery, dispense the medication and have it ready at the pharmacy for your collection. A hassle free way of ensuring your medication is ready every time you need it.
FREE Blood Pressure Monitoring
We offer a free blood pressure monitoring service in our consulting room. No appointment required but the service is subject to the availability of qualified staff. If you would like your blood pressure taken, please ask at our pharmacy counter.
Malarial Prevention Medication – without the need to see your doctor for a prescription.
We can prescribe and dispense Malarone, Atovaquone & Proguanil (the generic of Malarone) Doxycycline and Larium without the need for a private prescription from your doctor.
Before prescribing these medications the patient is required to complete a short questionnaire with the pharmacist in the private consulting room. Certain medical conditions prevent us from making a supply and hence we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide treatment in all cases. All treatments are supplied at the discretion of the pharmacist.
The cost of the treatments are:
- Malarone: £2.30 per tablet
- Atovaquone & Proguanil: £1.54 per tablet
- Doxycycline 100mg Caps: 20p per capsule

Erectile Dysfunction Medication – without the need to see your doctor for a prescription.
We can prescribe and dispense Viagra, Sildenafil (generic of Viagra), Cialis & Tadanafil (generic of Cialis), without the need for a private prescription from your doctor.
Before prescribing these medications the patient is required to complete a short questionnaire with the pharmacist in the private consulting room. Certain medical conditions prevent us from making a supply and hence we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide treatment in all cases. All treatments are supplied at the discretion of the pharmacist.

- Sildenafil Tablets (all strengths): £6 for 4 tablets & £8 for 8 tablets
- Tadanafil Tablets (10mg & 20mg strengths): £6 for 4 tablets & £8 for 8 tablets

Private Flu Vaccination
We can now offer private Flu vaccination to anybody over 18 years of age and who is not eligible for a FREE NHS Flu Vaccination.
Our fully trained pharmacy team can offer this service usually without an appointment, quickly and conveniently in the pharmacy’s consulting room saving you the trouble of visiting your GP surgery for the same vaccination.
This private vaccination costs £10 as it is not funded by the NHS.
Please note all patients can only receive one flu vaccination per annum. Patients will be required to answer some simple questions before the vaccination is administered to ensure the vaccines suitability and for the patient’s safety. Vaccines are administered under the supervision of the pharmacist. Vaccines will only be administered if considered safe and appropriate by the pharmacist on duty.
