NHS services offered by Wringtons Ltd and funded by the NHS

Flu Vaccination

We can now offer the FREE NHS Flu vaccination to anybody over the age of 65 years.

We can also offer the FREE NHS Flu vaccination if you are over 18 years old and have a medical condition which classes you as ‘at risk’. This group of “at risk” people will be informed by letter from their GP that they are part of this group and eligible for a free flu vaccination.

Our fully trained pharmacy team can offer this service usually without an appointment, quickly and conveniently in the pharmacy’s consulting room saving you the trouble of visiting your GP surgery for the same vaccination.

Please note all patients can only receive one flu vaccination per annum. Patients will be required to answer some simple questions before the vaccination is administered to ensure the vaccine's suitability and for the patient’s safety. Vaccines are administered under the supervision of the pharmacist. Vaccines will only be administered if considered safe and appropriate by the pharmacist on duty.

Once the test has been checked you will be sent the results (the pharmacy is not provided with this information). If you test positive for Chlamydia then you will be given instructions on how to get a simple treatment with test results.
